————— Sometimes as we paint things they are never what we thought they would be. This originally began with tones of grey-blue with tints of white. The more the paint brush moved with every stroke I felt I could see the lights of a city across the darkened evening waters.
This piece holds the darkness of each city, but up close we are reminded that when your in it you cannot see the surroundings because its lit. This can be any-city America or downtown Canada. It’s like the thundering clouds are rolling through with that stunned silent moment just before the clouds open to release the fury of a torrential rainstorm.
